Nail Laser Treatment FAQS

Unfortunately as is the case with all treatment options for fungal nails, there is no guaranteed treatment. However you can be confident that I will recommend and perform the treatment that I think will give the highest rate of fungal nail improvement.

The effectiveness of laser treatment is influenced by patient compliance with other factors that can influence treatment (ie. foot and shoe hygiene, treatment of tinea/athletes foot, refraining from applying nail polish or using nail polish in the most hygienic manner)

We offer a painless laser service. Individuals have described having a tingling sensation during and after the laser treatment

We offer the safest option of laser treatment available. If for any reason an individual has particular concerns, this can be discussed and managed on an individual basis.

This depends on the type of fungal nail infection, the amount of nail involvement and the number of nails affected.
